One of the most enjoyable aspects of blogging is the opportunity to learn from others' insights and thoughts. It's a joy to share my experiences, read others' blogs, and incorporate their learnings into my own. Each new skill adds to my blogging knowledge, from structuring writing pieces to creating post accounts and pages.
Another thing I have learned from this class is the use of web tools. We have been using Padlet and Microsoft Word to work on our assignments. These are good software for promoting collaborative learning. I would incorporate this in my future teaching and involve another platform like Prezi. Prezi is a creative PowerPoint presentation platform my students could use to make more innovative and eye-catching PowerPoints.
It also includes generative AI, and some features within Prezi allow you to create graphics using AI. I have used this when designing presentations for classes. It helps me design content faster, which makes my presentations more appealing. I liked this assistant, as it allowed me to focus more on including all the essential facts and informational content needed for the assignment requirements. It works so well in assisting me to become more fluent in my work for assignments.
While I plan to introduce Generative AI to my students to assist them in creating projects, I am mindful of the potential for misuse. It's essential to set clear boundaries on the use of AI, as some students may be tempted to rely on it entirely, raising ethical concerns. Prezi AI, for example, helps create PowerPoint graphs and pre-made designs. It can be a helpful starting block form for assistance. Only partially rely on the use of it all when creating projects.
